The in-tube (13AH) battery allows a low center of gravity and good road handling, and with its capacity can give the rider 60 miles of economical riding on even terrain.
Being a step-through model, this bike will appeal to those with reduced mobility and people who do not wish to use a crossbar frame.
The e-City 1.13 has 26” wheels that allow for good maneuverability and road handling. For added comfort the bike has a Zoom 325E suspension fork.
In the rear hub is a 250W Bafang motor – the is one of the most established e-bike component brands in the world. This is controlled with a five-level LED controller on the handlebars.
A 7-speed Shimano drivetrain uses a 14-28t cassette for effortless riding whether with motor support or without. Stopping power comes from Tektro alloy V-brakes.
With the mudguards and pannier rack, the bike comes in at a reasonably light 22.8kg that most people should be able to ride about town comfortably.
